One Month Until ROOTSTECH!

Shannon Combs-Bennett, Terri O’Connell, and me at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City

I can hardly believe we’re a month away from RootsTech virtual genealogy conference. I’ve attended both virtually and in-person and will admit that I love the virtual option. It’s expensive to travel to Salt Lake City and trying to do that in February can be challenging with winter weather. So having the opportunity to attend the largest genealogy conference virtually and for free is one I highly recommend that you register too.

The conference will be held March 3rd through 5th, 2022, and is completely free. Many of the presentations will be recorded and available for viewing late.

Sign up for RootsTech so you can enjoy:
– Inspiring keynote speakers
– Unlimited access to over 1,500 sessions
– Expo Hall with companies from around the world
– Playlists, chat, and much more

According to the website, the conference will begin as explained below:

“We will begin streaming at 8:00 AM in Salt Lake City, (11:00 AM in Rio, 6:00 PM in London; 12:00 PM in Tokyo and 2:00 am [Thursday] in Sydney) and continue for the next 72 hours. You can join in at any time and watch what is playing on the main stage, watch one of our over 900 class sessions, visit the virtual expo hall, and connect with other attendees, your Relatives at RootsTech, or one of our helpers. Classes begin at any time that you are ready to start them it is all about your schedule and individual needs.”

The great thing is that you don’t HAVE to watch it live. You can go back when you have time and watch the recorded classes. I will be working during part of the conference so that’s how I’ll handle it myself.

So if you haven’t signed up yet, register now.
