In December 2017, I took on the role of Traffic Engineer for the City of Westerville, Ohio. One of the projects that I am proudest of is the development of the Strategic Mobility Plan. Kimley-Horn served as our consultant team taking the information gathered from our public meetings and advisory group helped develop goals for the plan.

- Plan based on Westerville’s Community Plan approved July 2016
- Coordinated with consultant, Kimley-Horn, to develop a Strategic Mobility Plan
- Served as Westerville lead of development of the plan
- Organized monthly meetings of the advisory group with residents, bike advocates, police, fire, public service, parks, MORPC to discuss and expand upon the initial goals of the plan
- Organized public meetings with community members and other stakeholders
- Developed GIS mapping with the support of Kimley-Horn and City GIS staff
- Developed a resident survey to finalize the strategies for the plan
- Tabled at Westerville’s 4th Friday and the Farmer’s Market to encourage participation in the online survey
- Summarize and responded to every comment from the public
- Finalized the Strategic Mobility Plan and identified short term, long term, and continuous strategies to achieve goals
- Presented to Westerville Planning Commission
- Presented to Westerville City Council and approved in March 2020
